VOUCHED4U RULES OF USE

By using the Vouched4U website (www.Vouched4U.com) (Website) and downloading and using the mobile app (the App and which together with the Website is referred to as the Service as further defined in the About the Service section below), You become a user (You, Your). All users are subject to these Rules of Use (Rules) and You should ensure You read these Rules in full before using the Service.

The Website and the App are owned by Vouched4U International Limited, operated and maintained by Vouched4U FZ LLC whose registered office address is Office 906D, Building 6, Twofour54 , Media Zone Authority, Park Rotana Complex, Khalifa Park, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Vouched4U FZ LLC along with any of Our parents, subsidiaries and affiliates provide You the Service and shall be referred to as We, Us, or Our.

By using the Service You accept these Rules and the Terms of Use, Terms of Sale, EULA, Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy (together the Terms) and agreed to abide by them. If You do not agree to them, do not use the Service.

About the Service
  1. Our Service offers a referral reward platform for the following sectors a. food and beverages; b. leisure and attractions; c. health and beauty; and d. retail and services. It allows You to refer businesses (Merchants) You have used for the above services and receive rewards in the form of credits of a monetary amount to be used at the same Merchant (Credits). The person You refer will receive a discount off the total value of any purchase they make at the Merchant You have referred them to.

  2. In addition, Our Service allows Merchants to offer promotions for their products and services (Offers).

Registering to use the Service - Customer
  1. To use the Service You must download the App from the Apple AppStore (for iOS devices) or from the Google Play Store (for Android devices).

  2. You must register for an account (Account) with Us by providing Your name, address, email address, mobile number and a 4-digit pin number. We will also ask You to provide further information such as Your date of birth, nationality, gender and country of residence. This information is optional and can be skipped during the registration process but is useful for Us to be able to promote relevant Merchants and Offers to You. You may complete this information at any time by logging into Your Account.

  3. We will send You an OTP code to validate Your mobile number and an email to confirm Your email address. Once both have been validated then You can log in to Your Account and start to use the Service.

Your Account
  1. When You log into Your Account via the Service You can see details of the following:

    1. Your personal details;
    2. Referrals made and received and the status of such referrals;
    3. The number of Credits You have earned for each Merchant;
    4. Any Offers available to You; and
    5. Any reservations You have made and the status of them i.e. unconfirmed, confirmed, declined.
Location of Merchants
  1. By using the search functionality of the Service or via the promotional areas of the Service, You can find businesses that are participating in the Service and providing Credits or Offers to users (Merchants).

  2. Merchants will be listed alphabetically if location settings in Your device are switched off. If the location settings are switched on then Merchants will be listed based on proximity to You i.e. the nearest showing at the top of the list.

  3. The Merchant page on the Service will include a description of the Merchant, the services it offers, its opening times, a map and directions, a reservation button, other user’s reviews and the details of Credits and all the Offers that the Merchant has available and the terms and conditions associated with such Credits and Offers.

  4. It may be possible to make a reservation directly with an Merchant through the Service. The Merchant will confirm Your reservation directly with You by email.

Validation and Starting to make Referrals
  1. When You visit a Merchant and are ready to pay using the Services, You will need to input the bill number, bill amount and then You will be asked to enter Your 4-digit pin number (set up when You registered).

  2. The Merchant will then enter their 4-digit pin number (set up when the Merchant registers) and Your purchase will be validated. This Validation is required to allow You the opportunity to refer the Merchant to Your friends and family for rewards.

  3. Your purchase will need to meet any minimum spend requirements set by the Merchant (minimum spend requirement can be found when You click the profile picture on the homepage under “Discount List”) in order for You to be able to validate.

  4. If You are with other users then provided the average spend amongst You and the other users is equal to or greater than the minimum spend requirements You and the other users can also be validated irrespective of who pays.

  5. You will then have the option to pay the Merchant in cash or via the App. Our Terms of Sale specify how We process payments for You through the App.

  6. You will then be asked to rate the Merchant by selecting the Like or Dislike button. Selecting “like” allows You to refer the Merchant to other users via social media, email and Our own chat functionality in the App. You can also send private messages to Your contacts. If You select “dislike”, You will be asked to make a comment on Your reasons for disliking. You will not be prompted to refer if You dislike the service. Dislike comments will be shared with the Merchant for service improvement.

  7. There is no limit on the number of referrals You can make however the relevant Offer may specify whether there is a limit on the number of Credits that You can earn from such referrals.

Earning Credits from Referrals
  1. If You are the referrer, You will earn Credits from a Merchant each time a user You have referred to the Merchant makes a purchase equal to or above the minimum spend requirements set by the Merchant.

  2. The number of Credits You will receive and any specific terms and conditions attached to such Credits will be specified in the Offer for that Merchant.

  3. If You are the referee You will earn an introductory discount off the purchase price of a purchase made with the Merchant provided that such purchase is equal to or greater than the minimum spend requirement.

  4. As referee, You must visit the Merchant within 3 months of the original referrer’s purchase date in order for the referrer to be eligible to receive Credits and for You to take advantage of the discount. The 3 months is still valid even if it were to straddle between two calendar years i.e. December 31 is in the middle.

  5. If the 3 months has expired, the referrer may resend a referral containing a new unique referral link when the referrer next makes a purchase from the Merchant that meets the minimum spend requirements.

  6. You can refer an Merchant to your friends and family successfully once in a calendar year (January 1 to December 31). After 31 December the Referrer and Referee are free to validate the service from January 1 and refer the Merchant (even if they used it prior year) to the same referee or vice versa in the New Year.

Offers and Earning Credits from Offers
  1. Offers are made available by Merchants. You can view these in the Website but can only purchase them via the App.

  2. The Merchant will specify the terms and conditions for such Offer, such as the discount being offered, the expiry of the Offer, any restrictions on when and where the Offer can be redeemed.

  3. Offers are designed to be redeemed at with the Merchant in person and are not coupons purchased in advance of use.

  4. You have the choice to pay for Offers through the App or directly to the Merchant.

  5. You may use a Referral Credit to pay in part for an Offer. Check the Offer details.

  6. If You purchase an Offer and such Offer meets the Merchant’s minimum spend requirements then You will be validated and receive a referral code to send to Your friends and family for and be eligible to receive referral rewards as set out in these Terms subject to the Merchant participation in the Referral activity. If the Merchant is listed for only Offers and not listed to participate in the Referral then this option will not be available.

Redeeming Credits
  1. You can see the number of Credits You have earned and are available to spend for each Merchant in Your Account.

  2. Credits are only redeemable with the issuing Merchant.

  3. Credits have a monetary value e.g. if the Merchant is located in the UAE then 1 Credit = 1 AED. In other locations 1 Credit = 1 of the relevant currency for that location.

  4. Subject to any terms and conditions specified by the Merchant, Credits can be used up to a maximum percentage of the total bill at the relevant Merchant subject to the credits being available. There will be a maximum Credit Redemption Limit expressed as a percentage to redeem per bill. Such limitations will be available for You to see in Your Account by viewing the “Rewards Info” section for the Merchant or the Merchant page on the website.

  5. Credits are valid for a set period from being issued. If You earn a Credit in the months of January to June in a year then You will have until the end of December that year to use the Credits. If the Credits are earned in the months of July to December in a year then You will have until the end of June in the following year in which to use the Credits.

  6. We are not responsible or liable in any way if a Merchant closes down and leaves You unable to redeem Your earned Credits at that Merchant.

  7. Credit redemptions and First Visit Discount may not be allowed on public holidays. Check the terms available in the App or the Website.

Terms and Conditions relating to Food and Beverage Offers
  1. Credits earned from the referral rewards may be used to redeem offers subject to the terms of the offer.

  2. We and/or the Merchant reserve the right to remove any Offer or make amendments to such Offer at any time. We are not responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is removed or amended or if a Merchant closes down.

  3. Unless specified on the Offer, Offers are valid 7 days a week any time during the Merchant’s trading hours. Check the offer terms for whether the offers are valid on public holidays (listed at the end of these Rules).

  4. Offers are not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers or dining, loyalty, employee, or rewards programmes.

  5. Offers only apply to dine in services from a Merchant. Check the offer terms if applicable on takeaway.

  6. Offers may not be valid during special events including Iftar, Suhoor, buffets, set price or special menus, theme nights.

  7. Use of Offers relating to alcoholic beverages is at the sole discretion of the Merchant and subject to compliance with applicable laws.

  8. Credits cannot be used for taxes or tips unless authorised by the Merchant.

  9. Any use of the Offers in violation of these Rules will render the Offers void.

  10. If a Merchant refuses to honour any Offer, please contact Vouched4U customer services on support@Vouched4U.com.

Terms and Conditions relating to Non-Food & Beverage Offers
  1. Credits earned from the referral rewards may be used to redeem offers subject to the terms of offer.

  2. We and/or the Merchant reserve the right to remove any Offer or make amendments to such Offer at any time. We are not responsible or liable in any way if an Offer is removed or amended or if a Merchant closes down.

  3. Unless specified on the Offer, Offers are valid 7 days a week any time during the Merchant’s trading hours. Exception for specified public holidays (listed at the end of these Rules) may be applicable.

  4. Offers and Credits cannot be used for shipping or handling charges.

  5. Credits cannot be used for taxes or tips unless authorised by the Merchant.

  6. Offers are not valid in conjunction with any other discount offers, promotions, special offers, loyalty, employee, or rewards programmes.

  7. Any use of the Offers in violation of these Rules will render the Offers void.

  8. If a Merchant refuses to honour any Offer, please contact Vouched4U customer services on support@Vouched4U.com.

  9. The holder and issuer of Food and Beverage and Non-Food and Beverage Offers and Credits is the Merchant. As a holder and issuer, the Merchant shall be fully responsible for any and all injuries, illnesses, damages, claims, liabilities and costs suffered by or in respect of a customer, caused in whole or in part by the Merchant, as well as for any unclaimed property liability arising from unredeemed Offers or Credits or portions thereof. You waive, and release Us and its officers, directors, employees and agents from, any claim, liabilities, damages, or injury arising from or related to any act or omission of the Merchant in connection with Offers or the services/goods provided in connection with them.

Chat Functionality and Other Communications with You
  1. The App allows You to chat with connected users and Merchants.

  2. Connected users on the App can chat with each other and send text and photo messages.

  3. When a user accepts referral invitation from a friend they automatically become a contact in the chat function. The user can recommend visited Merchants only to their contacts either individually or as group.

  4. You cannot chat with a user who is not connected to You. Likewise You cannot recommend a visited Merchant to non-connected user.

  5. We expect all users to respect each other and to comply with the provisions of Our Terms of Use.

  6. We do not take any responsibility for the content of chat messages between You and other users or Merchants.

  7. We may also send You notifications via the App or through the chat functionality.

  8. You will receive an email and notification from Us when You have earned a Credit or when You have redeemed Credits. You will also receive a receipt when You have used the App to make a payment to an Merchant.

Certified Reviews
  1. You may also rate and write a review on the Merchant from the Merchant page. Such certified reviews may be moderated for appropriateness before being published. The reviews will also state the reviewers last visit month to the Merchant.

General
  1. The barter, trade, sale, purchase or transfer for compensation of any Credits or Offers by any person or entity, is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorised by Us.

  2. The Service and Offers are intended for the non-commercial use of the user.

  3. The use of the Service for advertising purposes is strictly prohibited.

  4. If You wish to make any comments or raise a complaint please contact Us at support@Vouched4U.com.

  5. Vouched4U FZ LLC maintains the website www.Vouched4U.com.

  6. United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile. The governing law is the local law.

  7. Visa and Master Card and AED will be accepted for payment.

  8. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC and sanctioned countries.

  9. Customer using the website who are Minor /under the age of 18 shall not register as a User of the website and shall not transact on or use the website.

  10. Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

  11. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.

Suggest a Merchant

From time to time You may visit or have a favourite Merchant which is not listed on Our Service. Feel free to hook us up with the Merchant by completing the “Suggest a Merchant” form available on the Service with as many details as You can.

UAE Public Holidays

Offers, Credits and Discounts can be used 7 days a week (subject to Offer terms), excluding or including the following days and any other public holidays as announced by the government (subject to the Merchant’s discretion):

Please note that a limited number of Merchants may be closed over the summer, Ramadan and other selected religious holidays. We cannot be held responsible if an Merchant is temporarily or permanently closed during the Offer validity period.
